Cenepa: Zona de peligro

A designated killing zone is a section of the battlefield where the enemy is directed and which has been previously prepared with the aim of inflicting heavy casualties. In 1995, did the Alto Cenepa Valley qualify as such? In this chapter, we will explain why we believe that the Cenepa, the battlefield chosen by the Ecuadorian Armed Forces in 1995, qualifies as such.
