I Thought My Life Was Over After Psychosis… I Was Wrong
Psychotic depression and psychosis can make you believe your life is over. I know because I believed it too. In this video, I share my lived experience of psychotic depression recovery, and how hope slowly came back. If you’ve experienced psychosis or severe depression, you might know what it feels like when your world comes tumbling down. Psychotic depression can be an incredibly isolating experience, where false thoughts feel real, hope feels gone, and in the aftermath and early recovery it can seem like your life is already over. In this video, I share my personal experience of psychotic depression recovery, especially the despair and loneliness early on, and the slow, often invisible moments where things began to shift. This isn’t a story of instant recovery. It’s a story about what it actually feels like to come back from a place where you thought you never find yourself. If you’re in that bleak place right now, I hope this video may help you feel even a little less alone. And if you’ve been through it, I hope this reminds you how far you’ve already come. If this resonated with you, you can subscribe. I’m sharing more honest conversations about psychosis, depression, and recovery, so no one has to feel alone in this.
