The guitar repair I've wanted to learn for years

As of this month, I am now onto my fourth year of documenting my journey of learning how to repair and modify guitars. But since my very first year, I've always talked about how I want to learn how to make a nut from a bone blank. I kept kicking that lesson down the road, promising that I'd get to it next week, or next month, or next year, but finally my procrastination caught up to me just days before I had a gig.
