Shotts & Dykehead Pipe Band in Grade 1 at 2026 European Pipe Band Championships in Perth Scotland

Shotts & Dykehead Caledonia Pipe Band, competing in the Grade 1 bands medley final at the 2026 European Pipe Band Championships. These were held in the City of Perth, Scotland, on Saturday 27th June 2026. For more videos from this event, and across Scotland, see our channel ‪@BraemarMedia‬ The band, who were led by Pipe Major Emmett Conway and wearing MacLean tartan, took 6th place in the Grade 1 final with their Medley performance. The tune set picked was Medley 2 - Pauline Ross, Doune of Invernochty, Rory Gallacher, Lark in the Morning, Wee Charlie's Air, Moonstar Waltz, Dunrobin Castle, Alick Cameron, Champion Piper, Moonstar Reprise. Hosted by Perth and Kinross Council, in conjunction with the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association (RSPBA), this incredible spectacle involved 119 pipe bands from all over the world.
