Dunbar RNLI gallantry award - reconstruction
This is a reconstruction of the rescue that earned Dunbar RNLI lifeboat coxswain Gary Fairbairn a Bronze Medal for Gallantry at the charity's Annual Presentation of Awards 2010. The medal was awarded in recognition of of his courage, judgement and exemplary boat handling in sea conditions that knocked the lifeboat onto her side during the rescue of a skipper and his wife from the stricken yacht 'Ouhm' on the night of 15 May 2009.
