High School students write a rap for Art 21 PBS Partnership advocating for students w/ disabilities

This video was created when the teacher applied to be part of the professional development program Art 21 with PBS. The first half of this video will describe the teacher and the SCANA program she wrote that supports social emotional learning and incorporates Thinking Maps and the art ed technique: Inquiry-Based Questioning. The second half includes a rap that the students worked together to write and perform after participating in a lesson at the Met in front of Thomas Hart Benton "America Today". Students compared NYC today to the one that Thomas Hart Benton paints in his mural.
