No Word Is Too Long For This Scrabble Legend

Grandmaster and two-time North American champion Dave Wiegand is known in the Scrabble world as "Dr. Bing" for good reason - his command of bingos, especially longer words that very few players can find, is unparalleled except by Nigel Richards himself. In this video, we'll give Dave his props for some of the best long-word finds of his illustrious career. In less than two weeks' time, the 2026 Albany July 4th tournament will feature not only Dave (and me!), but also Nigel Richards and Adam Logan, who will be playing a best-of-15(!) match in the days before the tournament, reprising their world championship finals from this year. It's the inaugural event of the newly launched matchplay series called WESPA Word Wars.
