My Zoo Was Going Broke… So I Took a Risk | Planet Zoo

Gilbert Zoo is still struggling financially, so in today’s episode, we have to make some smart decisions to keep the park moving forward. After opening Coyote Canyon last week, we start by updating the zoo map, future-proofing the coyote habitat, and expanding the Great State 48 Trail with a brand-new abandoned mine exhibit for the western diamondback rattlesnake. From there, we add a small saloon to help bring guests deeper into the boomtown area before making a practical pivot with a temporary javelina habitat. But the zoo still needs one more big move. To help push Gilbert Zoo toward profitability, we take out a medium-sized loan and build our first non-Arizona species habitat: an African spurred tortoise conservation house. This new section introduces a broader desert conservation theme to the zoo and gives guests another reason to explore beyond the Great State 48 Trail. This episode includes: Updating the Gilbert Zoo map Improving Coyote Canyon Building a rattlesnake mine Adding a boomtown saloon Creating a javelina habitat Welcoming coyote cubs Building an African spurred tortoise house Finally pushing Gilbert Zoo toward profitability If you enjoyed the episode, please like the video and subscribe to follow along as Gilbert Zoo continues to grow. #PlanetZoo #GilbertZoo #ZooBuild #PlanetZooSpeedBuild #AfricanSpurredTortoise #Javelina #Coyote #ZooTycoon #Gaming
