The D1000 is made from hardened steel which gives it resistance to standard attack methods. There is then the anti-angle grinder resistance which comes from the ‘magic material’ Ferosafe so this is a carbon composite material that is used in combination with the hardened steel resulting in a lock that can resist both Angle-Grinder attacks and standard attack methods. The Rubber around the D1000 is just a thick layer of rubber to protect from any frame damage when locking up. The cutting disks I was provided with were metal cutting disks.
