We're in Tohoku Town. Tohoku Town is a municipality located at the base of the Shimokita Peninsula, with larger neighboring cities such as Misawa and Towada. It's called the "Kamito-san Region," an abbreviation of the initials of Kamikita District, Towada City, and Misawa City. Tohoku Town's population in 2025 is expected to be around 15,000. It's quite common for towns in Aomori Prefecture to have populations of less than 10,000, so this is still on the high side. In this video, we're taking a stroll around a lake that Tohoku Town is promoting and a place known as a "hidden station."
