https://drumt.ec/roland-vad-506 Good news! It's winter NAMM time in LA, and Roland is launching a bunch of promising new electronic drum products... We start off our Roland video series with the new Roland VAD 506 electronic drum kit, that features real acoustic shell sizes (10,12,14,20) to begin with. The new PDA-100, PDA-120 and PDA-140F tom pads are equipped with a brand new 3 sensor trigger system, that delivers an authetic feel without any "hot spotting" in the center of the head. The VAD506 kit comes with the new TD-27 sound module, that combines sounds/features of the TD-17 and TD-50. It fills the gap between both models and replaces its predecessor the TD-25 as the new Roland "middle class" sound module. The TD-27 is compatible with Roland´s digital pads, so the new VAD kits are equipped with a CY-18DR digital ride, a PD-140DS digital snare, as well as two brand new non-digital e-cymbal models in 14" & 16" inch size (CY-14C-T and CY-16R-T).
