NDLEA Makes Largest Seizure Of Heroin In Lagos

The menace of hard drugs is a pandemic that has taken a toll on the future of many young Nigerians. Hence, a renewed war against it is essential. Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA intercepted what the agency described as the single largest seized heroin consignment at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos. The NDLEA personnel also arrested some members of the criminal gang, involved in trafficking heroin across Nigeria, South Africa, Mozambique, Europe and America. The consignment seized during the operation weighed 51.90 kilogrammes.
