Dabadabadá 1984: il raro documento televisivo del Piccolo Coro dell’Antoniano

A precious testimony to Spanish children's television in the 1980s: an episode of RTVE's Dabadabadá featuring the Piccolo Coro dell'Antoniano of Bologna, directed by Mariele Ventre. The program is hosted by Sonia Martínez, Torrebruno, and Paco Micro. In the program, the choir performs the song from the 26th Zecchino d'Oro festival of 1983, "Attacca al chiodo quel pistola!" (Put That Rifle Down!). The video was filmed in Bologna, in one of the city's historic venues, Palazzo Re Enzo, a symbolic landmark in the city center. The episode represents one of the moments in the international presence of the Piccolo Coro dell'Antoniano, which in those years brought Italian children's music to numerous European broadcasts, contributing to the spread of the Zecchino d'Oro even abroad. A rare and significant television document for the history of European television and for the international career of the Piccolo Coro dell'Antoniano.
