Obvious signs of a counterfeit (can be recognized without comparing with the original): 1. The metal on the top and bottom of the canister is ground perpendicular to the long part of the can (watch the video, everything is shown in detail there). 2. The upper and lower metal edge is matte. 3. Marking on the bottom of the canister (date of production of the container and the abbreviation of the plant that produced it) - On the ORIGINAL there is only NSW or NSC - these are the plants that make containers for Honda OEM products in Japan. 4. The weld is thin without traces of welding (a thin dark strip about one and a half millimeters thick). Unobvious signs (hard to recognize without the original can for comparison). 1. The plastic tab on the fake is less transparent. 2. The fake can is a couple of millimeters higher than the original. 3. The print, inscriptions and color of the print differ in many details. The fake can that we see in the video is made very well. This is industrial production - a conveyor line at the plant. Factory crimping of the lid, marking, etc. - all indicate this. Most often, counterfeit original oil appears in Russia in the following way - an empty can with a print is ordered from China - it comes to Russia under the guise of a container in boxes of 12 pieces. Lids are also ordered from the Hirokama plant. Cardboard containers are ordered locally on site. After receiving the metal container in Russia, the cheapest product is poured into it, which one exactly depends on the greed of the counterfeiters, it is marked with a special hand-held device and closed with a lid using a hand-held device. That is, this Honda Z-1 can is definitely not made in the way described above. What is poured into it? I don’t know. Often, suppliers of counterfeit products talk some nonsense about this oil being made under license in Singapore and Malaysia. This is not true. 1. Neither the Honda corporation itself nor the structures that produce oils for it in Japan (JXTG and Idemitsu) have ever given anyone a license to produce METAL containers. METAL containers are produced ONLY in Japan and ONLY at the Nagao Seikan factories. 2. There CANNOT be variations of packaging (print/color) (unless it is an updated product - for example, Toyota gradually replaced gray cans with Red ones, but this happens very rarely). 3.
