From Downs to Sea: exploring Portslade and West Hove

The From Downs to Sea exhibition was shown at Brighton Museum & Art Gallery in Spring 2014. It was curated by residents from West Hove and Portslade who chose works from the Arts Council collection to reflect the geography and character of where they live. In this film the curators give you a personal tour of their neighbourhood and introduce their favourite places in Portslade and West Hove. Brighton Museum & Art Gallery worked with the Residents and the Trust for Developing Communities from April 2013 to the opening of the exhibition in April 2014.
