We went as far as you can go out there and to our surprise

We took a hike way out into the forest and brought the metal detectors along with us. this old colonial New England ground with rock walls, wagon trails and many abandoned and deserted places. All the way out at the end where the improve lands are no more we were picking up nail iron in the ground and digging up some old stuff. reading the landscape history you can see that some of this had been worked land, not to mention the oxen shoe we dug up at 18 inch deep ! We were both running the Teknetics G2+ today and were able to pull out and find some old relics from the 1700s and 1800s like buttons and a rare candle snuffer. We made our way along a cart path and back to the cellar hole and just had a great fu day which is what it is all about. Hike, explore, metal detect and have fun.
