Union J star Jaymi Hensley has opened up about 'coming out' while the boyband was appearing on The X Factor last year, and insists it wasn't a ploy to win the nation over but rather because he felt it was the right time and he "didn't care what people thought." The 'Carry You' singer and the rest of his bandmates appeared in last year's series of the talent competition and while they were hugely popular, they were thrust into the spotlight when Jaymi decided to reveal the truth of his sexuality.
