Creating a resin bowl with dried flowers

In this video I create a bowl with epoxy resin and dried flowers, and it's a birthday gift for a really wonderful friend of mine. It's a simple yet really effect project and I loved how it turned out. Now the birthday gift has been received I can share the creation video :) Materials used: Apex High Gloss two part epoxy resin from Just4YouOnlineUK Dried flowers from Amazon Silicone bowl mould - this was part of a set of three lidded pot moulds from Amazon but I didn't want to create a lid for this one. This mould takes 150ml of resin I had a few large air bubbles that needed patching so I used my JDiction UV resin to fill those. Any small air bubbles with sharp edges were smoothed down with a nail file. That's pretty much it! Usually it would be best to dip all of the flowers in resin first but these seemed to be incredibly fragile so I honestly didn't think they could take the weight of the resin without tearing and I doubt I would have been able to push them down the side of the bowl without damaging them. Doing it the way I did I knew would create more air bubbles along some of the little stems but I'm honestly not too mad at that. I did fill the bubbles near the rim which were disappointing, but overall it turned out really nicely and I think the bowl is very pretty. Thankfully my friend likes it too!
