It almost ended in tragedy! On this leg of my cycling trip through Argentina, I experienced one of the most tense moments: I lost my drone in the mountains of Salta. While cycling through the spectacular Quebrada de las Conchas and along Route 68, "Dron Ramón" lost signal, and I had to embark on a desperate search before reaching the famous Garganta del Diablo (Devil's Throat). Besides this scare, I'll show you what it's like to camp wild on the riverbank, the legendary bridge from the movie "Wild Tales," and why the shorter days often end up being the best part of the trip.
