Today we're back out in one of the biggest wheat harvests we've ever attempted as we continue working through our massive 800-acre wheat field here on the Huron County, Michigan 16X map. After making several major upgrades to our harvesting fleet over the past few episodes, it's finally time to see what this operation is capable of when everything is running smoothly. Our fleet of 5 John Deere S780 combines continue harvesting wheat using MacDon swath pickup headers while 5 John Deere 9RX 830 tractors pull our massive Elmers Haulmaster 3000-bushel auger wagons. We also continue utilizing the Walkabout Mother Bin system to keep grain moving efficiently from the field back to our massive farm silo complex. As harvest continues, our fleet of 5 MacDon M1240 swathers finally finish cutting the entire 800-acre field and are sent across the map to begin preparing for the final wheat field of the year which comes in at over 600 acres. With the swathers finished, all attention turns toward getting as much wheat harvested as possible and continuing to grow our massive grain stockpile. By the end of the episode we push our wheat storage past 3.8 million liters while making excellent progress through the field. With the operation finally running smoothly, we're now over halfway finished harvesting this massive field and are setting ourselves up for a huge push in the next episode! Thanks for watching!!
