Sayıları hızla artıyor: TSK'nın tank avcıları - Kaplan STA - Pars 4x4 STA - Savunma Sanayi - FNSS

The ground troops of the Turkish Armed Forces are equipped with new generation weapon carrier vehicles. Within the scope of the Weapon Carrier Vehicles Project for the Land Forces Command, a total of 344 vehicles capable of firing Kornet or OMTAS missiles and designated as tank destroyers will be procured. 208 of the vehicles will be tracked KAPLAN and 136 will be wheeled PARS. Turkish defense industry company FNSS made the first delivery within the scope of the project in December 2019. Mass production deliveries started in March 2020. FNSS has achieved a significant production and delivery speed despite the restrictions under the epidemic measures. A total of 113 vehicles, 94 of which were KAPLAN and 19 PARS, were delivered in approximately 1 year after the commencement of mass production deliveries. Within the scope of the project, approximately 1 vehicle was delivered in 3 days. Two different vehicles are used in the project, tracked and wheeled. The vehicles and their weapon systems were shaped according to the tactical needs and usage concept of the TAF. FNSS developed the KAPLAN-10, the lightest member of the KAPLAN vehicle family, as a tracked type vehicle and the PARS 4x4 vehicle as a wheeled type anti-tank vehicle. KORNET and ROKETSAN's OMTAS missiles are used in the anti-tank towers carried by the vehicles. The tracked anti-tank vehicle KAPLAN was designed as a new generation armored combat vehicle with an automatic transmission, capable of joint movement with main battle tanks. The vehicle was developed as a platform that allows it to perform all kinds of tasks by integrating different subsystems. KAPLAN stands out as a platform that can be used in different missions thanks to its low weight and mine and armor protection, as well as being the most modern of its counterparts in the world armies. The KAPLAN Weapon Carrier Vehicle reaches a speed of 65 kilometers per hour. The PARS 4x4 Weapon Carrier Vehicle is designed to perform special purpose missions such as forward surveillance, anti-tank and command control. The vehicle has been designed to meet all operational requirements. Having a low silhouette and amphibious feature, PARS can operate in deep and flowing water without any preparation. PARS reaches speeds of 110 kilometers per hour. #KaplanSTA #ParsSTA #SavunmaSanayi #FNSS #TankAvcısı #Pars4x4 #Kaplan10 #TSK #TürkSilahlıKuvvetleri #WeaponCarrierVehicles #TankHunters
