Hull Trinity House Academy - Official Opening 2024

Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal officially opens the new Hull Trinity House Academy Beverley Road campus. The move to the new site, made possible by a substantial £20 million investment, marks a significant milestone for the school. The opening ceremony was a grand affair, attended by civic dignitaries, school leaders, and representatives from Delta Academies Trust. Her Royal Highness was greeted with a warm welcome, including a guard of honour by the academy’s White Squad, a student parade, and a captivating performance by the Drum Corp. Among dignitaries at the official opening were His Majesty the King’s representative The Lord Lieutenant of the East Riding of Yorkshire Jim Dick OBE; the Lord Mayor, Councillor Mark Collinson; and the High Sheriff of East Riding, Colonel Christopher Henson. Other guests included the Chair of the Delta Academies Trust Board Steve Hodsman, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Andy Barnett and The Brethren of Hull Trinity House.
