Honestly I am really curious why the mapmaker of the edited version chose not to include this chapter because I think this chapter is really cool and also adds to the story with Lothar and Uther heroically leading all the people of old Stormwind across sea to escape from the horde. I really like the gameplay. Some of the negatives - the terrain is still pretty bad, annoyingly so because the narrow pathways and ramps causes pathing issues of units which leads to awkward and frustrating combat encounters that take place, especially that part near where the orcs were teleporting to from their base, that ramp is too small lol. Secondly, I think managing so many weak villagers is very annoying, I am thankful there was one Amulet of Recall available, but I wish there was another to help me teleport everyone else too. Because having to lead them all slowly throughout the map is very tedious, not to mention they sometimes get caught by dragons en-route to my base and die. Other than that though, this was a really fun map, possibly even my favorite map out of all of them, since I think the idea is really cool. Overall, this campaign is a huge mixed bag. There are like 2 to 3 missions which are basically nothing burger short maps that have no business being included in the campaign like Chapter 2 and Chapter 4. Others range from pretty good to great, especially in the ideas department. So I think this is a solid 3 out of 5 campaign. What version would I recommend - Edited or the Original? That's a really hard question. I think a lot of the Edited changes were weird and to the map's detriment, except the terrain which is of course way better. So I think if the Original had the terrain of the edited version, I would 100% recommend the Original. Also the fact that there is a whole chapter missing from the Edited version is very weird. That makes me recommend the Original over the Edited overall. This mapmaker has made another campaign after this which is apparently more highly regarded and people say is better! Its called The Last Druid. I think that will be our next undertaking! Should be fun.
