In this episode of our countryside adventure, we escape the noise of the town and return to the peaceful Finnish cottage life — deep in the forest, surrounded by lakes, wildlife, and silence. This time, the adventure becomes unforgettable. We head out fishing together with my 4-year-old son, who is already becoming a skilled little fisherman. What starts as a calm day on the lake quickly turns into an intense fight with a massive pike. But life at the cottage is more than fishing. We wake up under the northern sky, make fire in the old wood stove, and cook traditional porridge and pancakes together. Simple moments, real nature, and slow living at its best. From breakfast preparations to tangled fishing lines, from calm forest mornings to adrenaline-filled moments on the water — this is real Scandinavian bushcraft life shared between father and son.
