Philips CD210, naprawa. (#117)

I'm repairing a CD player that has no signal on the analog output. As for the sound of the famed Philips DACs, here the TDA 1543, it's a pleasure to listen to. There's a fairly solid bass foundation, a very clear midrange, and slightly metallic treble, but... well, the Sony BDP-S350 sounded better and didn't have that metallic tarnish. Of course, the difference in sound is small, barely perceptible, because in uncompressed digital audio, i.e., in CD players, there aren't as big differences as between different speaker systems. If someone can't tell the difference between MP3 and CD, they can easily buy a Philips and enjoy the music, as the drive is solid and the player is cheap. At the end of the video, I show something unrelated to the player: PLC control.
