A short film documentary by Charles Urban for his Kineto Review. This includes shots of the (then) villages of Appenzell, Bissone, Gandria, Thoune and Morcote. The film was released in 1921, but it is likely that at least some of the film is earlier than this (not least because this is described as a review). Charles Urban is something of an unsung pioneering hero of the film industry. He was prolific, and filmed many important factual film records of the turn of the last century.
