A Week in the Life of a Walmart GM Driver
I have completed my first year at Walmart and have transferred from the Grocery DC in Cleburne, just south of Ft Worth, to the General Merchandise DC in Palestine, aobut 100 miles southeast of Dallas. Several things have changed with this move to Palestine. I have transitioned from hauling groceries to hauling everything else. I have gone from having short runs with more stops to longer runs with fewer stops. I have gone from mostly city driving to mostly country driving. And best of all, I have gone from a 212 mile commute to an 85-mile commute! Life is good!
