Valley in Bloom Suite Plus Zig Zag Strips Technique

One of my favorite suites from the new May - August mini catalog is the Valley in Bloom Suite, which features Lily of the Valley flowers. I grew up in Western New York and these grew wild in the woods across the street from my home, so when I saw this suite, I knew I had to get it! I wasn't disappointed either and I have made many, many cards to show off the beautiful products in this collection. I am also showing a very fun technique that I learned from Demonstrator Heidi Collins called Zig Zag Strips. It's great for using scraps of patterned paper (we all have them!) and it's easy to do. I show one version at the beginning of the video, but make a variation of it during the video. The papers in this suite provide lots of options for color combos!
