Now the boat always has coffee and cappuccino with toast in the morning. It's very convenient and has greatly improved comfort. The inverter handles all loads well. To switch to shore power, I installed a 16A two-position circuit breaker on the DIN rail behind the dashboard. The circuit breaker panel had to be modified slightly to disconnect the charger when using the inverter. I repaired the masthead light with deck lighting that had been torn off by halyards dangling from the mast, resealed the keel-hull joint, checked the diesel, flushed the external cooling circuit with fresh water, polished the sides with improvised means, and replaced the portlight gaskets. As you may recall from the previous episode, they leaked when the boat heeled over and the portlights were submerged in the waves. I also polished them using a regular Sif detergent, which contains a fine abrasive, and a regular drill. Finally, the boat is ready for sailing and launched. Hello the new 2025 season!
