Today we will look over this supposed easter egg of Mario's face on the monument designs in Marble zone from Sonic 1. Mario and Sonic (Nintendo and Sega) had a pretty chunky beef period back when the console wars between the two companies were a thing, so I thought it would be interesting to look into this a bit further. Hope you enjoy the video! Note - Sonic the Hedgehog 1 video footage was recorded from the Nintendo Switch version which has been updated to add the spin dash.
