Metro, V/Line and Freight Trains at Frankston

Frankston station, originally opened in 1882, is a premium station which serves as the suburban terminus of the Frankston line in Melbourne's bayside outer south east. The station has an island platform with one side split into two platforms, one for the Stony Point line services, operated by Metro but running V/Line Sprinter diesel railcars. In 2018 the station was redeveloped into its current form and in 2024, a huge multi-deck carpark on the western side was opened.
