My first time skiing Arapahoe Basin

A-Basin is absolutely legendary. Crazy Joe was right when he said it would be my favourite I-70 resort. Arapahoe Basin is the locals favourite in Colorado for good reason. The terrain is expansive and steep with striking views and an unmatched vibe. Unlike almost every other ski resort in America, Arapahoe Basin has managed to hold on to that old school mountain heart that all of us skiers know, love and are deeply deprived of. They are 100% on our team (unlike the big conglomerates) and push hard to open first in the US and close last. I’m already itching to come back on a better snow year so I can ski every line on the East wall, but mainly so I can have another brisket sandwich at the lodge. I’ve had enough hard pack.
