Effects from Tuesday morning's powerful earthquake in southern Japan were caught on camera. The epicenter of the quake, reported between 6.8 and 7.1, was near the city of Kumamoto, on the island of Kyushu. Aerial footage shows the aftermath of the seismic event. Emergency crews battled flames on one building. An explosion was reported at a shopping mall shortly after the quake, and people are reported to be trapped inside the structure.
