Ghana's New Leader Takes Office
Ghana's newly installed President John Dramani Mahama has promised to hold the country together following the death of President John Atta Mills Tuesday with the country already in a campaign mood for a General Election that had been scheduled for December the 7th this year. Mahama was sworn in about six hours after the death of Mills by the country's Chief Justice Georgina Wood. Our Associate Editor Alex Chamwada who is in Accra, Ghana witnessed the smooth transition of power and here is his report on how it all happened.
