Kuky se vráci, a film by screenwriter and director Jan Svěrák, is an adventurous and poetic family story, in which, however, heroes from the world of children's imagination take the main roles. Six-year-old Ondra suffers from asthma, so for "health reasons" even his favorite toy - the pink teddy bear Kuky - has to go. When the mother throws Kuky into the trash, Ondra's fantasy begins to work, in which he experiences the teddy bear's stories in an unknown natural world. But is it really just a little boy's dream or has Kuky really set off on the biggest adventure of his plush life? Kuky se vráci is a truly unique film in the context of contemporary domestic cinema, not only for its focus on a family audience that unites children and adult viewers, but also for its unconventional and modern combination of a live-action and animated story, full of action scenes and funny dialogues.
