Why Community is so Important to any Artist
If you have ever questioned whether you have artistic talent, Calgary artist Jean Parker will be sure to inspire you. Parker always knew she had a passion for art, but it was only in recent years that she was able to put in the time and energy to do more of it. She realized it took dedicated and consistent practice to improve her skills and be trained by the right people. Parker talks about her experience with a group called Mastrius which teams aspiring creatives with master artists. The benefit of this is that students are able to accelerate their growth in their chosen medium. If you would like to learn more about Mastrius, you can visit them at www.mastrius.com. To see Jean's work you can visit her on Instagram @jeanparker866. Mastrius instructor and talented landscape artist David Langevin is mentioned at the start of this video. To see his colorful landscape art you can check him out on Instagram @langevin_david or visit his website at www.davidlangevin.com.
