Official Launch of Santanderean Day in Bogotá | International Physics Olympiad 2026

Bogotá hosted the official launch of Santanderean Day at Casa Santander, bringing together distinguished leaders and prominent figures from Colombia and around the world in a celebration of culture, identity, and international collaboration. During this special event, Rajdeep Singh Rawat, President of the International Physics Olympiad 2026 (IPhO 2026), was honored in recognition of his outstanding leadership and contributions to the advancement of physics, science, and global education. As host country of the 56th International Physics Olympiad, Colombia continues to strengthen its global presence in science, innovation, and academic excellence. Bogotá recibió el lanzamiento oficial del Día de la Santandereanidad en la Casa Santander, un encuentro que reunió a líderes y figuras representativas de Colombia y del mundo, celebrando la identidad regional y la proyección internacional del país. En el marco de esta celebración, fue homenajeado Rajdeep Singh Rawat, presidente de la Olimpiada Internacional de Física 2026 (IPhO 2026), en reconocimiento a su liderazgo y su aporte al desarrollo de la física, la ciencia y la educación global. Como país anfitrión de la 56ª Olimpiada Internacional de Física, Colombia fortalece su posicionamiento internacional como referente en educación, ciencia e innovación.
