Tour Aotearoa 2026- Kiwi, Snazzi, and Rach cycle across New Zealand. Part 1- Cape Reinga- Wellington

On the 29th January 2026, I embarked, woefully underprepared, on the biggest adventure of my life so far- cycling 3000km across New Zealand. Having never bikepacked before, I was thrown in at the deep end, contending with all sorts of obstacles, including mechanicals, broken panniers, floppy tents, sandflies, and thunderstorms. I decided to record this shambolic journey for myself, friends, and family to look back on in years to come- and here’s how it ended up. Enjoy!
