Distinguished Musician, Mixing Engineer & Producer Andreas Dahlbäck sheds light on his successful approach to music making in our exclusive One one One interview, which we filmed at his Genelec-powered studio, Durango Recording in Stockholm, Sweden. Since 1988, when he started his rise to becoming one of Sweden’s most in-demand drummers, Dahlbäck has strived for sonic excellence – diversifying in 1999 into music production with the opening of his own studio. In 2002, he was selected to produce popular Swedish band Eskobar’s ‘Someone New’, which was an international hit. From there, his reputation surged in the mix room – while he continued to excel at drumming and later became an artist in his own right.
