While listening to the families tell stories about fallen soldiers that remain unforgettable even as time passes, a surprising fact is discovered... ◆ Vivid Testimonies from Veterans of the Battle of the Heights! In July 1952, when armistice negotiations began to halt the Korean War, a bloody battle with no end in sight started on the heights near the 38th parallel. The battle for the heights, which unfolded while the front lines were stalemated, was so fierce and intense that it resulted in over 3 million casualties and continued for 26 months. Even now, more than 60 years later, the veterans remember the battles of that time as vividly as if they happened yesterday. ◆ The Final All-Out Offensive in July, and the Chilling Sound of Drums Begins! It is said that the sound of flutes and drums from the Chinese Communist forces on July 13, 1953, signaling the start of the battle, was a terror severe enough to send shivers down one's spine.
