In fact, an expression containing radicals with even indexes whose radicands are negative real numbers has no meaning in the real number field. In this lesson, we will show that in the real number field, it is possible to consider any radical whose radicand is any complex number. Not only a negative real radicand, but also any imaginary number, or even more generally, any complex number. Without having to memorize formulas, we will understand how to find all the roots.
