Train Enthusiast's Video Diary 2019-11-17 Part 1 of 2

Adnoorak Train Enthusiast’s Video Diary 2019-11-17 Part 1 of 2 On Sunday 17th of November 2019, we joined fellow train enthusiasts and chased SteamRanger’s ‘Southern Encounter’ train from Mount Barker, South Australia, to Victor Harbor, South Australia, and return. On this occasion, Steam Ranger’s ‘Southern Encounter’ was hauled by their 930 Class Diesel Locomotive ‘958’. The chase included brief sightings of Steam Ranger’s ‘Cockle Train’ which was hauled coupled with the ‘Southern Encounter’ by ‘958’with the assistance of their 500 Class Diesel Locomotive ‘507’. This arrangement was used on the first ‘Cockle Train’ from Goolwa to Victor Harbor in the morning and the last ‘Cockle Train’ from Victor Harbor to Goolwa in the late afternoon. ‘507’ was used alone to haul the ‘Cockle Train’ movements otherwise between Victor Harbor and Goolwa. The day’s video snippets have been split into a two-part video collection: Part 1 – ‘Southern Encounter’ - Mount Barker to Victor Harbor; and Part 2 – ‘Southern Encounter’ return journey from Victor Harbor back to Mount Barker. ***
