Karine Polwart is one of the finest songwriters I know. She has won many awards. Her recordings are made with great care and wisdom, and her songs are, at once, delicate and strong. From the day I heard her first solo recording, "Faultlines", I knew that I would continue to follow her work. It's been a worthwhile and enriching journey, and she's been a good friend.
