** Update ** Razer has provided me with the following details regarding the Gen 2 Optical Linear Switches: Actuation distance: 1.2mm Actuation force: 45g Bottom out force: 48g (Yep, it's confirmed by Razer - my apologies for the skepticism!) Lastly, these switches are in a "silent" style.
