Calathea- From Soil to Semi-Hydro & Succulant Chopping & Propping

In this video, I am really going out on a limb with my Calathea Makoyana. She was big and beautiful when I brought her home 9 months ago. Unfortunately thrips got the best of her and I am switching her to semi-hydro to see if she'll bounce back. Man, I hope it works. Also, I'm cutting and propping up my Kalanchoe Choolate Soldier as well as a couple of Thanksgiving Cactus. AND after really checking out the plants in my kitchen last week, I went ahead and chopped my two Graptoverias. Lots going on!!!! :-) 🥰 Plants, plants and more plants!!!! There are never too many in my home! Well,...... maybe it feels like it sometimes. lol Welcome to my channel and my crazy and addictive world of plants!! I love growing any and all house plants, from Philos to Hoyas and Aroids, really unusual plants and even plants that eat bugs! You name it and it will probably strike my fancy. My favorites are trailing plants and plants with really cool and beautiful leaves. There's nothing like getting a small clipping and growing it to a beautiful addition to my collection in a year or two. I've been at it for about 40 years and I'm never going to stop!!!!
