Beyond the place that the character "Ye" occupies in culture, far from his controversial statements and actions, there is a prolific artist who draws dozens of people to each production he headlines. He never works with a small crowd and combines emerging producers with industry leaders. Ten years after the release of a pivotal album for "rap"—if it can even be categorized within that genre—this video will provide a brief compendium of the artists who shaped Kanye's sixth album and who today occupy an important space in the global music scene, or who continue to grow as producers behind the glass of the studio. Among all the hands that contributed to Yeezus, there was one key and decisive card, from someone who already had a wealth of experience. I'm talking about the legendary Rick Rubin. He provided the final touch to give meaning to an album in just 15 days, the last two weeks before its release. Clarification: There are artists and producers who weren't mentioned, as the idea is to show the evolution of the faces behind the album, but this is a personal choice that isn't solely measured by each artist's popularity. Additionally, there's a wealth of audiovisual material about this album, and the goal is, at the very least, to offer a different perspective on the album. Ye always knew how to choose co-producers from diverse styles and different geographic regions.
