Organising my Vintage Kitchen Cabinet

This weekend I decided to reorganise the kitchen cabinet and create a new art station for the kids! I took over the entire kitchen and we all leaned into the chaos of living, cooking, eating, playing, faffing and reorganising with all of us at home in our little house. Interspersed with many snacks and rounded off with a magical afternoon in the woods. A perfect way to wander into Autumn! I am an artist, interior and table stylist, writer and collector of stories. I grew up in a home full of stories, with an artist/interior designer mother and a family full of creatives. I am fascinated by how our own stories inform our daily rituals and creative expression. My work is mostly centred around the theme of home, life at the kitchen table and the irregularity of creative paths. All of these areas of practice and interest have been poured into my new workshop ‘Tell the Story of Your Home’, where I have created an holistic guide for exploring what home means to you. In this, we investigate your own story, past, present and future and how to lean into this through simple and playful styling techniques, for you to implement in your home. If you would like to follow me as I explore more of these things, please Subscribe to my channel. It means you’ll be notified as soon as I release new videos and it really helps me too! Love, Java x
