Piano cover - Autumn leaves

the past few days I was messing around with piano sounds and tried to find something that would sound good. Even though I found some good VST and even sound fonts I didn't manage to get the velocity dynamics working well which might be the reason why everything sounds kind of bland. When I play on a different piano or acoustic one it does sound way better when I play. My poor piano doesn't send much velocity info as it seems. I used a different sound font for this since the concert grand would probably not be the greatest. I may move away from it completely but it seems I can't get much expression using any of these and I'm not sure if getting a better piano is a good idea. Playing on better pianos though is a big difference though and so far playing around with different VSTs didn't result in what I was looking for.
