$1.4 MILLION MOPO MACATON FEEDER ROAD
The Government of Dominica through funding provided by the European Union under the 11th EDF B-Envelope State Building Contract embarked on a programme of rehabilitating key farm access roads across Dominica in 2022. The programme addressed underlying weaknesses in the agriculture sector relating to commercial competitiveness, and aimed to improve productivity by rehabilitating physical infrastructure. In Morpo/ Macaton this meant the construction of 700 metres of rigid concrete pavement with accompanying drainage work. The project was done at a cost of one million four hundred and thirty six thousand, eight hundred and forty-five dollars and seventy-four cents and was implemented through contractors the Public Works Corporation. #dynamicdominica #agriculture
