Here's a video interview with Briana, who traveled from Japan to France to participate in the filming, and directors Maxime and Cedric. In the film, Briana performs a pole dance on water. When asked about her impressions of dancing, she said, "We were filming in complete darkness, so I could barely see anything around me. It felt like I was dancing in space." True to her words, the completed entrance scene was a fantastical one, with only Briana dancing gracefully against the darkness. According to director Maxime, "It was a difficult shoot... We shot scenes that were supposed to be shot in Japan in France, so I'm sure Briana had a very hard time." The COVID-19 pandemic forced a schedule change, revealing the behind-the-scenes story of the film being reluctantly shot in France. Briana shared, "Since it was the director's decision, I knew I had no choice but to do it, so I did my best!", revealing a glimpse of her high level of professionalism. When asked about her first meeting the Shiny Shrimps, she recalled the cheerful members, just like their characters in the film, saying, "They were constantly talking, and I wondered if they were brothers or sisters. They were having so much fun and acting all the time." However, she also let slip her true feelings, saying, "It was a little noisy, though." In between takes, the two seemed to deepen their friendship, taking selfies and living up to Director Cedric's words: "This film is very upbeat and depicts friendship and emotion." Finally, Briana said of the film, "I never expected it to be so thought-provoking." Linking with the director's words that the film's message is "freedom," Briana revealed her serious side, saying, "It's a reality we're living in, so we shouldn't turn a blind eye to it." This message is a must-see for fans looking forward to the release. "Shiny Shrimps! Spread Your Wings" will be released on October 28, 2022.
